This afternoon we decided it would be fun to paint a couple of the pumpkins that we grew in our backyard. So the kids each brought one inside and set forth to create a masterpiece! What fun it was to figure out what colors to use and how exactly to tackle the paint job. They spent about an hour perfecting their masterpieces, and this is what we have....
I think we may try turkey hand paintings later this week!

great idea. I think I may do that instead of carving...lasts longer plus Hannah's pumpkin she chose from my parents garden is HUGE and I don't know that I want to carve it. :)
