50 and Fabulous!!!!!

This last Saturday we got to celebrate a momentous event. My beautiful mother turned 50! Wow! It is hitting me in waves probably cause I was running around all last week getting things ready for the party. The party was great too, if I do say so myself. We just did a cake and ice cream social for friends to come and express their greetings or condolences whatever the case may be! My kids were all over Grandma Jo, especially after they finished their cake and she had hers to eat still. After finishing her cake we moved her onto her presents. She got a great assortment of cards and gifts from her family and friends. The highlight though would have to be the color her face turned when she saw the special gift I got her. It was a thong....one that said "You are 50" then goes on the list how many hours, days, seconds, etc. She turned purple red! We wrapped the day up and after cleaning up we went our to Red Robin to have a nice family dinner. But I will leave you with this....My mom may be 50 but she is still the most fabulous woman out there!!!
