Poppa Mike, Grandma Jo, and Uncle Eric came over this last Sunday to hang out and bring the kids a special gift they had all worked on. So they got here and we visited for a bit while I got Ally ready to go in the pool. Then they were so antsy we decided to go out so they could give them their special gift. SO we go out and get set up so we can all see what is about to unveiled.
Uncle Eric opens the trunk of the car.....TA DA! It is a small kids size wooden bench and it is absolutely beautiful. They had found it at a garage sale and it has been painted and was really dirty. 
So they proceeded to take all the wood off and dad replaced it with really nice wood that he had at home. It has been stained with a water tight seal and the arms had been scoured and repainted....all by the hard work of my family! It is also strong enough to hold a grown adult!!!! 
So we take it inside and finish getting ready to go out and play in the pool. After getting Dylan ready for the pool, out we go! 
Little did we know that it wasn't just going to be Dylan and Ally getting in!!!! 
We proceed to all get pretty wet 
and Poppa even gets in the pool with the kids!
After running around and playing outside for awhile
we all get dried off
and go inside to hang out and have fun. We all got to have some sherbet. Ally didn't really care for it and Dylan kinda liked it, he would take a bite and make a really sour face, 
but he would eat it all!!! Apparently it was funny face making night. Here is some of the fun we had...
